Solo Show

I'm pleased to announce the opening of my solo show, Jamie Kreher: re-construction, at Ellen Curlee Gallery. The exhibition runs from January 25 - March 8, 2008 with an opening reception this Friday, Jan. 25, 6-9 pm.

New Home

I'm happy to say that we sold our house and moved across town three weeks ago. Even though the packing and moving process was stressful, not to menton exhausting, this new place brings many positive changes.

Slinger at Boots Contemporary Art Space

Boots is a wonderful new space founded by Juan William Chavez, a fellow SAIC alumnus. He and his fellow "agents" are doing a great job with Boots and I'm excited to show there.

Living Room?

Brett took this picture of our living room about 2 months ago. Our sewer line collapsed and we had to have the whole thing torn out and replaced. We were finally able to move back in about 2 weeks ago.

Current Works 2006 Int'l Photo Media Biennial at Society for Contemporary Photography in Kansas City, MO

I haven't seen the Kansas City show yet but the work on the website looks promising. The St. Louis show has a variety of interesting work and is definitely worth going to see.

Solo Show

My solo show called "Some Islands" is on view at Central Missouri State University Art Center Gallery until Aug. 18th. I haven't been to see it yet but here's a preview.

Fallen limb

A big branch fell off the large tree in our front yard during the recent bout of storms. It's about as big as a small tree in and of itself. Luckily, it missed our house and the neighbor's house.
